Erase years from your appearance with these makeup tips
As you get older, it's inevitable that you'll notice signs of aging in your face. However, there are some helpful
tips you can follow to erase years from your appearance. In a recent interview with Good Morning America, Bobbi
Brown,a professional makeup artist and the founder and CCO of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, shared some of her favorite
makeup secrets for looking younger:
- Add a pop of color to your cheeks- A gorgeous shade of blush can give you a fresh, youthful
look in seconds. Brown recommends applying it to the apples of your cheeks and brushing it toward your hairline
in an upward motion.
- Brighten up your eyes - Getting rid of under-eye circles can subtract years from anyone's face.
Brown shares what she calls her "secret of the universe," which consists of applying a corrector and then
layering on a creamy concealer. Once those circles are taken care of, curl your eyelashes and cover them with
waterproof mascara to make your eyes look bigger.
- Dust on some bronzer - "While I'm a firm believer in SPF, I do think a sun-kissed look makes
your skin appear healthy and counteracts any sallowness you have," says Brown. "You can achieve this by dusting
on a bronzer-focus on the areas where the sun hits-forehead, chin, nose and cheekbones."
While these tips can certainly help, you may find yourself wanting to seek out more effective anti-aging solutions.
